Golden Ginkgo Soap

Named after the bright yellow ginkgo leaves of fall, this bar has a fresh, cheerful scent. Lemongrass and sweet orange give it a clean, citrusy smell that feels light and uplifting. Annatto seeds give it a natural golden color, with no dyes added.

We blend our tallow with organic olive and coconut oils and hand-pour each bar. It makes a creamy, bubbly lather that feels soft and nourishing on the skin.

Every one of our soaps is made from scratch, never melt and pour. Even our main ingredient, tallow, is rendered at home from hand slaughtered Zabiha Halal suet we get from our local butcher. We never use fragrance oils, synthetic dyes, or palm oil. We choose high-quality ingredients because we want the best for our customers.

Made in a woman-owned, family-run kitchen, slowly, in small batches, with intention.

How to enjoy

Lather between hands, on a washcloth, or straight onto the skin, cleanse, and rinse. Lovely for hands and body, especially as a fresh start to the morning. Let the bar dry between uses.

Suet Tallow (Zabiha Halal, hand-slaughtered, home-rendered), Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Annatto Seed, Lemongrass Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Lye (none remains in the finished bar)

Care

Keep on a draining dish away from standing water. Handmade, so slight variations are natural. Annatto gives a natural color that may vary a little from batch to batch and soften over time, which doesn't affect the soap.

Good to Know

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. If you have sensitive skin, try it on a small area first.
