Gentle Tallow — Hand-Poured Botanical Bar

Our Simply Tallow Soap is made with just a few ingredients, with no fragrance and no color added. Fewer ingredients means fewer things that could bother sensitive skin, which makes this our plainest and gentlest bar.

Tallow is the heart of it. It's naturally close in makeup to the oils our own skin produces, which is why tallow soap cleans well without leaving skin tight and stripped. It makes a hard, long-lasting bar with a soft, creamy lather, just as soap was made for centuries before cheaper oils took over.

Made in a woman-owned, family-run kitchen, slowly, in small batches, with intention.

How to enjoy

Lather between hands or on a washcloth, cleanse, and rinse. Gentle enough for hands, body, and face. Follow with our Unscented Tallow Cream while skin is still slightly damp. Let the bar dry between uses.

Suet Tallow (Zabiha Halal, hand-slaughtered, home-rendered), Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Lye (none remains in the finished bar), Calendula petals for decoration

Care

Keep on a draining dish away from standing water. Handmade, so slight variations are natural.
